Comments are saved inside a "database" folder and comments for each page/item is saved as .dat text files. About SQL db ... there isn't something planed for this, I must say users didn't really ask about database versions.

hey, you get what you pay. free comment scripts are available, but none are as simple as to use as this one. I've tried a bunch and ended paying the $25 because it was worth it.
also, ever consider making this script use a mysql db?
